it's the holidays. that's what it is. the talk of them, the preparation, the gathering of friends & families that leads to both joy and argument

and then it's the love lost. the way it still sits under everything you do, the way it doesn't really go away even when you think you're better

it's the wanting someone to be there, someone who isn't going to hurt you. someone who's never going to leave.
